If you shop at Amazon.com, use the smile.amazon.com link (make sure to set your charity to “The Model School Comprehensive Humanistic Learning Center ” and 0.5% of your purchases go to The Model School at no cost to you!
eScrip
This program is widely used by schools and non-profit for fundraising. You sign up your credit card as a supporter of the Model School, and the parents’ group gets a contribution whenever you use it at participating stores (Safeway, Barnes & Noble, etc.)
1. Visit the secure eScrip site
2. Search for the Model School. The group ID is 138932072 (or you can search by city or zip)
3. Click on “The Model School Comprehensive”
4. Give your name and address to register
5. Enter your credit card, debit card or grocery card information.
Annual Fund
Each year parents, alumni and more support the direct needs of The Model School by making a tax-deductible donation to The Annual Fund. The Annual Fund helps cover the costs of the school’s most basic needs, as well as educational and developmental enrichment activities for the students, like our weekly music and Spanish language classes. The Model School is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization and welcomes any and all financial contributions. Events
Each year The Model School Parents’ Group presents a number of fun events and fundraisers, such as restaurant night, whiskey-wine-and-cheese night, and casino night. For more information on the events and how to get involved, attend the monthly parents’ group meeting or talk to your room parent.
