Air Quality
The Model School uses PurpleAir to monitor real-time Air Quality Index (AQI). We host three sensors on site for the most accurate AQI readings:
-
Outside: Main Building, playground
-
Inside: Main Building, common area
-
Inside: Annex, hallway

The US EPA conversion has been enabled on this map to account for wildfire and woodsmoke.
Please allow up to 10 seconds for the map to load real-time data.
Outdoor play and school hours will be modified depending on the outdoor air quality. Each classroom will continuously run a professional grade air purifier on days with AQI greater than 50. Indoor sensors are used to monitor AQI in both school buildings to ensure adequate air filtering.
